What is FurCoin?

FurCoin's are physical collector coins of the fandom by the fandom! Featuring all parts that make up the furry fandom from artists, fursuit makers, appeal businesses, influencers, characters, memes, and more. Each coin will have a short bio about the coin you're viewing to get to know or learn about someone/something in the fandom. Social links will be included as well. The goal of FurCoin is to allow everyone a chance to have a unique piece of merch at no cost to them (aside from purchases the coin(s) they wish to) and get a boost in exposure. Who knows! You might just meet a new friend, find an amazing artist, or discover an inspiring character.

How are FurCoins made?

Coins are made to order in house by FurBitten Studios LLC in the USA. These coins are not made in an overseas factory and simply resold once received. Every coin is made with care and quality in mind, with high quality stainless steel and durable full color resin for the 3D designs.

Do I have to be a big name or business to get a coin made?

​

NOPE! The great thing about making the coins in house to order is that coins can be open to everyone no matter your statues, how you participate in the fandom or if you have a business.

Will I have to pay anything to have a coin made?

​

Again, this one is a nope! The collection is built by the community, for the community.  FurCoin is simply the central hub and production powerhouse of the coins for everyone to get the physical coins from. You pay nothing even if you have us assist in your design of your coin.

How do I Join FurCoin?

​

Joining FurCoin will be as simple as possible with just 5 steps.

​

1. Create your design or assets for a design

   1. You can make the design entirely yourself or have help in design your coin​

2. Submit your art, all needed information and consent to use the design in sales via the form on this website

3. FurBitten Studios will review your submission and design your coin (if needed)

4. A test coin will be made.

   1. If design corrections are needed, they will be done and another test coin will be made.

5. Your coin store page is made and added to the site ready for everyone to grab up a fresh new coin to add to their collection!

Can I get a bulk order of my own FurCoin?

 

This will be an option at some point. Bulk orders will not be available at the start of the store launch to ensure enough material is available for everyone to get a coin. Once FurCoin is flowing nicely and funds are available to start buying steel is much larger quantiles and potentially additional machines, bulk orders will become available.

Could I get an exclusive coin made?

​

Like bulk orders, exclusive coins will also not be available right way for the same reason. 

​

What would be considered an exclusive coin?

​

These coins would be mini one-time bulk orders of coins that could only be obtained a specific way outside of the FurCoin shop.

Some examples:​

• Convention coin

• Event coin

• Received with an order from another business

• Charity Event Coins - Email FurCoin to discuss this however

I am worried about scalpers, anything in place to prevent that?

​

FurCoin is dedicated to make this as open as possible to everyone and all events that wish to have a coin made. While some coins will not be something we can help with, like exclusive coins. Scalping isn't something one can easily prevent but should we discover it, we will do everything in our power to assist. From blocking that person from further orders to adding more of the coin in question to the pool to devalue the scalpers horde.

I am a NSFW brand or content creator, am I welcomed to FurCoin?

​

FurCoin is about all of the furry fandom, and like many other fandoms there is a NSFW side to it. Those with NSFW backgrounds will be allowed to join FurCoin and content warnings will be posted. Please note however that adult images will not be allowed on the site or on your coin. See coin submissions for further information.
